Sudden Infant Death Services of Illinois offers free bereavement support to all families in Illinois (and beyond) that have experienced the death of an infant through any diagnosis. Last year, we supported 133 newly bereaved families. Yet, we've not forgotten that our grief does not end after just one year. We continue to send more than 1100 birthday/anniversary remembrances to our families.
In addition, last year, we had more than 500 people attend our four memorial events around the state of Illinois . Although we have lost our sponsor for the Brookfield Zoo Family Day, we've decided to continue offering the event below actual cost to our bereaved families. Our Family Day allows more than 300 adults and children who have experienced the death of an infant to come together for one day. Our families come from all over Illinois to participate in this uplifting day.
The drawing will be held on April 26, 2008 at Brookfield Zoo after the first performance. (Winner need not be present to win.) Product will be shipped to winner if not present at the event.
