If you know someone who has experienced the death of an infant, birth to age 1 year, regardless of cause or manner of death, we are here and ready to help.
In an effort to provide compassionate support to recently bereaved families and infant caregivers, we offer a wide range of services:
Family Packet/Bereavement Resources - As soon as a referral arrives, newly bereaved parents are sent a packet that provides information to comfort grieving families. Materials are available in English and Spanish. Memorial Events are held annually to remember all of the babies lost to sudden unexpected infant death.
One on One Peer Support - It is critical that parents and families receive appropriate bereavement support. Although family and friends may be very helpful during this stressful time, few people can actually understand, unless they have experienced the death of an infant themselves. The role of the Peer Contact is to provide compassionate understanding and support.
